This session tells you where to find facts and information about your family history that you may already have, shows how to organize and preserve family history materials, and teaches you how to plan to learn more.

Lois Abromitis Mackin, Ph.D., is a professional genealogist focusing on American and English research. Lois writes and teaches about genealogical records and methods, including DNA. She is a state officer for the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, a past president of the Northland chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists, and a past officer of the Minnesota Genealogical Society.
