Important change: Due to cloudy and rainy weather predicted for Saturday, this event has been modified. The daytime component will go on as scheduled at 1 p.m., but there will be a presentation instead of viewing opportunities.
The nighttime session at 7 p.m. has been cancelled.
Original description: Learn about daytime astronomy, how a telescope works, how to safely view the Sun, and observe objects such as stars, the Moon and the International Space Station. October 5th is also International Observe the Moon Night, so we invite everyone back to the library at 7 PM to train our telescopes on the Moon. Families are encouraged to participate. Register online or at the front desk.
