Please join Jim Guhl for a book discussion about his latest book, “South of Luck.” The story is set in rural Polk County, Wisconsin during the summer of 1945, and it features a high-school-age boy with a chip on his shoulder and a magnetism for trouble. For his own good, but against his will, he has been sent from Minneapolis to live on a remote farm near the villages of Milltown and Luck, Wisconsin. South of Luck contains elements of historical fiction, coming-of-age story, and mystery.
Jim Guhl continues to live, write, and paint in Hudson, Wisconsin. He enjoys exploring the outdoors as well as the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Generously hosted by Hop & Barrel Brewing. Everyone welcome.
