How Can I Get a Library Card?
You can get a library card by visiting the library during open hours. You will need to complete a library card application, provide a photo identification with current address. If your photo ID does not have your current address, please bring a bank statement, rental agreement, utility bill, or another piece of mail to verify residency. Junk mail and/or mail addressed to “current resident” is not an acceptable form of verification.
How Can I Renew My Materials?
Materials may be renewed by phone, in-person, or by accessing your library account via the library’s website. Rental DVDs, Lucky Day books, lawn games, and other kits are not renewable.
Can I Renew Rental DVDs?
No, rental DVDs cannot be renewed.
What Are the Fees for Library Programs and Classes?
All library program and classes are free of charge.
How Do I Register for Programs Online?
To register for programs online, please complete the registration form for the program that you are interested in, programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
How Can I Return My Library Books When the Library Is Closed?
For your convenience, the library has an outside drop. The drop is located on the north side of the building near the entrance to the police department. You also can return items to any MORE library, regardless of where you checked them out.
How Many Items Can I Check out at One Time?
There is a limit of 100 items on a card at one time. For holds, the limit is 50 items.
How Can I Make a Donation to the Library?
Donations to the library can be made to the Hudson Library Foundation via PayPal using your credit card or PayPal account. You also can mail checks to the Hudson Library Foundation, 700 First Street, Hudson, Wisconsin 54016. The Foundation supports programming, capital expenses, special projects, and collection development.
