Last After Hours Tween & Teen Night

For our last After-Hours Teen and Tween night, the library will turn into a spine-tingling space where youth will be transported to a world of mystery and intrigue. Mentalist and magician Robert Halbrook will be presenting a program of “Dark Tales of Mystery and Intrigue” on Friday, May 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Youth will navigate the creepy connections of literature and experience the strange phenomenon of the unknown.  Suspend disbelief and experience chilling interactions with telekinesis and mind reading. They can even check out some interesting relics from Robert Halbrook’s personal collection.

Find out about the strange connections between the lives of authors including PC Cast and Stephanie Meyers, and classical authors like Edgar Allan Poe and Bram Stoker. This is an interactive event featuring a macabre journey into the mysterious worlds invented by some of America’s most popular authors. Snacks and beverages are included. Register and get a parent permission slip at the youth services desk.
