At the Hudson Area Public Library, we want our patrons to get to know us better. Four librarians planned A Novel Bunch Book Club, and they'll take turns leading the book discussion. Look for book club postings on our Facebook page!

MADELINE P.: Madeline's drawn to books with fast moving plots. great character development, and an element of suspense. She's happiest when she's reading a book that keeps her up at night. She chose Ordinary Grace and The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane.

AMANDA B.: Amanda reads anything that looks interesting but is largely drawn to fantasy and horror or anything dark that will rip your heart out. Amanda will be leading the book discussions on The Hate You Give, Killers of the Flower Moon, and The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue.

MICHELLE S.: Michelle is a compulsive reader and will read anything that is well-written. Lately she loves to find books that make her laugh and remind her of our common bonds. Her picks are Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and We're Going to Need More Wine.

JOAN B.: Joan's a big fan of mysteries (usually British) and the puzzling out of how and why something happened. She also loves being transported in time and place so historical fiction is a big draw. Joan selected the books The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Sing, Unburied, Sing and The Ninth Hour.
